A bit of a slow start today, but we certainly made up for it in the second half. The halftime talk certainly had impact.
The first half we weren't sitting on the back foot in defence and the opposition were making 3 passes before we realised the ball was gone. We were not committing to tackling and we were losing the rucks. Our rucks are normally really good too, but we were not competing for them today.
In the second half we didn't just up our game 5% but a superb 20% at least. We came back from 6 tries down to drawing the game. Well done for waking up and playing great rugby. We started tackling and started supporting each other and it paid off.
The player of the week was a difficult decision after the second half, however he scored a few tries, dropped out into a different position and was also nominated by his team mates too, so this week went to Ewan - Well done. Everyone though upped their game in the second half, it really did show and was great to watch.
Wednesday Evening training 6.30pm behind the clubhouse to prepare for the home "cup" game on Sunday against Southend.
