Not the best start to the year, and we had some players out too. Thank you to Romford for loaning some of their players.

We didn't give the strongest performance today, and didn't show the effort that we normally play with.

The first 5 minutes of the game looked really positive, but seemed to go downhill after that. Not enough passing and lost some tries by running into the defence and not passing the ball out to the wing. There was also not enough support for the players that had the ball.

There were some positives, the shape was really good and there were some persistent tackles, but we need to do better. The Romford coach commented on the teams discipline, so well done.
