Despite the bitterly cold conditions, last week’s midweek training session saw the U9s display incredible energy, enthusiasm, and commitment. The players worked hard from start to finish, undeterred by the chill in the air.

Katherine was delighted to have the support of Ed and Mason, who were assisting as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award. Their enthusiasm and coaching input helped keep the session running smoothly as they worked alongside Katherine to put the U9s through their paces.

The players responded brilliantly to the session’s drills, showcasing fantastic skills, teamwork, and determination. After an intense and high-energy workout, Katherine handed over the responsibility of selecting the Trainer of the Week to Ed and Mason. The pair were unanimous in their choice, awarding the trophy to George for his outstanding effort and exemplary TREDS—Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship.
